Coming Attractions - Players to watch... Yacine "The Fiend" Merzouk is on scorching
Yacine Merzouk... It is tough to get a clear photo of this man as he burns up the freestyle scene. Okay, all b.s. aside, simply can't find one. So here is a "scorching" shot of the up and coming star of footbag freestyle star from Montreal, Quebec.

Yacine "The Fiend" Merzouk
Open Singles Finalist 2001
Big Add Posse 2001
(Montreal, Quebec, CAN)

If you think you know Quebec, think again. With such heart and boundless potential, Canada's hottest new star, Yacine Merzouk, is scorching up the footbag world and blazing straight into stardom. He has become a role model for Canadians and all footbag enthusiasts alike. In Montreal, home of one of the most dominant footbag net scenes on the planet, Yacine and his crew helped put Quebec freestyle on the map alongside their net predecessors. In 2001, Yacine broke the many year cycle of a USA exclusive freestyle finals. In doing so, he opened the singles freestyle final round with the first dropless routine by any competitor the entire tournament. Thus igniting one of the most deafening roars in footbag history while bringing the sold-out Theater Artaud crowd to their feet! This year, Yacine "the Fiend", will stop at nothing in his quest for freestyle gold. See Canada's most precious export 'live' at the prestigious Palace of Fine Arts Theatre in San Francisco, California at the final rounds of the World Freestyle Championships 2002.
