Last year, Ryan Mulroney, the reigning world champion, successfully defended his title in one of the most historic nights of footbag history... period. It seems that the two-time champion has now done it all... But wait! What about the record for consecutive world titles in singles freestyle? In 1993, "Three-Pete" Irish became the first and only person to win three consecutive world open-singles freestyle titles. Now in 2002, the gauntlet has been laid down. Will Ryan Mulroney tie this prestigious record, thus providing an answer to the "what have you done for me lately" freestyle-world? Or will Peter Irish win his first world title of the new millennium and defend his unprecedented record? Perhaps a mystery freestyler shall rise and steal the title from both of them.
