This is a tournament of a "new" Footbag game invented by a few students in
Luzern. They are starting a promotion tour right now and will host this
tournament in Oktober as part of a research project for their studies.
As far as I got it, its a game played in teams of three in a square field with
a basket in each of the four corners. Main goel is to score as many "baskets"
as possible in the course of the game. So its kind of a mixture between
consecutives and golf.
Planet Footbag Zurich and myself will be present at this tournament both to
check it out and to represent Freestyle Footbag. So anybody in the area
interested in the game or just looking for a good shred drop by...
To register a team please contact jag-hack@bluemail.ch, registration fee is
15,-CHF before the 20th Okt. and 25,-CHF at the tournament itself.
So, nochmal auf Deutsch:
Einige Luzerner Studenten haben im Zuge einer Projektarbeit fuer ihr Studium
ein neues Footbagspiel erfunden. Das Spiel nennt sich Jag-Hack und wird auf
einem Rechteckigen Feld (8x16m) gespielt mit zwei etwa knie hohen
Basketballkoerben auf jeder Seite. Gespielt wird 3 gegen 3 und ziel des Spiels
ist es, so viele Koerbe wie moeglich in der Spielzeit zu machen. Gespielt wird
(es geht ja ums Hacken) natuerlich nicht mit den Haenden.
Die Jungs sind z.Zt. auf Promotionstour durch die Deutschschweiz und beenden
ihr Projekt mit einem Turnier am 28.10. in Luzern. Neben dem Jag Hack werden
auch viele Freestyler aus Zuerich, und dem rest der Schweiz fuer ein kleines
Freestyleturnier und Shredsessions anwesend sein, also egal ob du normaler
Hacker bist, beim Turnier mitmachen willst oder hardcore Freestyler bist, du
solltest diesen termin nicht verpassen.
Anmeldeschluss uer das Turnier ist der 20.10., fuer naehere Infos und
Anmeldeformulare kontaktiere jag-hack@bluemail.ch. Das Startgeld betraegt 15,-
bei Bezahlund vor dem 20.10., 25,-CHF danach.
