We will have an open category for all you shreddies visiting from abroad! Categories include Open Net (Single & Double), Mixed Net, Routine &Circle Open/Intermediate/Women.

I'm happy to announce that the event starts Friday, 5:30 pm, at the local Boulder gym "Minimum" with some food and inofficial freestyle competition. The idea is to do some circle competition judged by the crowd and is played with a big show bag. If enough players are interested and participate, a finals round will be held at 9 pm at the party on Saturday. The location is right next to the lake where you can put up a net. In any case, feel free to bring your climbing shoes :]. Location http://minimum-bouldering.ch/ . At the registration desk, you'll be asked if you want to join Saturday's BBQ in the backyard of the club of that night (price: 4CHF). For the last reason, your answer should obviously be yes. It will be prepared by the co-hosting longboard shop http://www.roll- laden.tv/. If you deny, but decide otherwise later on: they'll sell it onsite for about 8-10 francs. Arrival (Friday): Address Minimum: Bachstrasse 15, 8038 Zürich. Public transportation: Tram 7 "Post Wollishofen" ( alternatively, S-Bahn, "Wollishofen Bahnhof", or Bus 161 or 165 from Bürkli to "Rote Fabrik"). Car (Important!): Okay, that's a tough one. Zurich has basically no free parking. You'll find so-called "blue zones" everywhere in the city. Rules are the following: From 8am to 6pm you can park free for one hour only. You'll need to set up a parking disc. From 7pm to 8 am parking is free (consequently from 6pm if you turn on your parking disk) in the blue zones. Exception is Sunday, where it's free the whole day. Hence the lot of you will need something for Saturday. There're two (legal) options: You'll go into a parking house, which are everywhere. Fees vary, from 1-5CHF/hour. The two at the event side: Parkhaus Hardau and Nova Parking. 20-30 Francs the day. Alternative: You can get a parking permission for the blue zone for 15CHF/day. I can offer you to purchase it for you. Contact me in that case. If you want to do it yourself (credit card needed): https://e-gov.stadt- zuerich.ch/pavwww/uc202tagesbewilligung/Disclaimer.do . The arrival site, Minimum has a few blue spots near by. You'll know the area if you've been to the Footjam, it's right next to the Rote Fabrik. Plane/Train: The connection airport and main station (HB) is really great, a couple of minutes. After arriving at HB, take the Tram 7 (black line) to "Wollishofen". Get out at "Wollishofen Post" (not the same stop as the end stop!), look into the direction of the lake, go through the pedestrian tunnel at take the very first right. Go through the yard, there're is the Minimum. Public transportation: about 4 francs one hour, or 8 francs for 24 hours. During nights, you'll have to get a night supplement, additional 5 francs (seriously). You'll have night busses instead of the tram. During the day, you also have the option to rent a bike at "Züri rollt". You'll need to bring it back by 10pm, thus it's maybe not so interesting for you (over night fee:10CHF). Note: The airport is right out of the city, so'll you need an additional ticket for that, too. Net play. Net director is Karim Daouk. We play doubles in side-out scoring, 2 winning games of 11 points for pools, 15 points from semi-final. And we play singles in rally- scoring: 2 winning games of 15 points for pools and quarter, and 3 winning games of 15 points from semi. We're happy that so many of you are coming! This allows us to reduce the registration fee to 20CHF (for everybody), but unfortunately also implies that we may not keep our promise to house you in inner zurich and may send you to the 'burbs, where Dave is living (15min ride from the main station). In any case, sleeping bag and iso mat is recommended. Playing location on Saturday and Sunday is Sporthalle Hardau, Bullingerstrasse 80 (Tram e.g. 7,8 , Busses: 31,32,44,34,46,72 both "Hardplatz", or Tram 2,3,17 "Albisriederplatz"). Party location on Saturday is the "Popup", www.popupzh.ch . It's basically only across the Hardbrücke from the gym, but this bridge stretches over 2kilometers. It's a visually stimulating walk, though.
