Welcome to the 23st Annual Vancouver Open Footbag Net Tournament brought to
you by the Kitsilano Footbag Association. We'll have some great net
competition, a great BBQ and some great prizes. In short, it's gonna be
great. Please let us know if you plan to attend, so we can make sure you're
all taken care of in proper Vancouver style. On a side note, Chris Seibert
and Steve Dusablon are vying for their 6th consecutive Doubles title at this
event. Who wants to be the team to take the belt away from them.

Sunset
Grill.
Saturday August 14th @ 9 am for registration at Jericho Park East
Sunday August 15th @ 10 am Doubles begins so be early to warm up.

5:00 pm - Dark - pick up net games at Kits Beach
8:00 pm - Rock show with the Milk Pipes at the Railway
Saturday Aug 14th
9:00-9:30 am - Registration for tournament events

Singles Net -please note this will be single elimination to contend for the
open crown.
Everyone will be
asked to play off for placement and there will be an Amateur Singles bracket
derived from the first round of the single elimination bracket. We will play
up to, but not including, finals.
2:30 pm -?
Mixed Doubles - Depending on the start time and the # of teams, the format
will be
decided and played up to, but not including finals.
8:pm - ? Party at Kit's Days? (I hear the Milk Pipes are playing)

Last chance to register for doubles or exercise any trade deadline deals.
9:30 - 10:00 am - Warm Up
10:00 am - Doubles pool play begins
2:00 pm - Finals matches begin
6:00 pm - Tear down and reconvene at the Sunset Grill to celebrate our
victories and
drink away our defeats.
