It's time for a Texas Footbag Tournament! Players from all over the state
will be coming and players from all over the world are invited as well. Texas
weather in October is great for footbag.
|
Net update: Net location will be at Bailey Park at 1101 W. 33rd
Street. We will have a players meeting at Bailey Park at
11:30 on Saturday and start matches at noon. Open Singles format will be
round robin so we can be flexible in scheduling and add in teams later.
Sunday we will have open, and if enough intermediate or novice players can
make it we will run that as well. We may do a pro am if there are just a
couple of int or novice players. We will break on Saturday early enough to
catch freestyle competition at 3:00 and then either play after freestyle or
save the rest for Sunday. We could also do a round of golf after freestyle
if there is interest. No entry fee for Net, there will be prizes and award
certificates. Call Tina on her cell phone at 512.680.7669 if you can't
make the players' meeting and want to play. We will also probably have an
informal kick at Bailey park on Friday around 2:30
Friday:
Freestyle Shred and hangout 7pm to 10pm Austin High Tennis courts:

Saturday:
EASTWOOD PARK 32nd and Harris Park Avenue
11AM Informal kicking begins, competition sign up
3PM - 5PM Freestyle Competition: Novice: big1/sick3 Open: routines, big1/sick3
5PM - whenever, wrapup, informal kicking
