YES! Portland is back on the footbag net circuit with the 2005 IFPA U.S. Open
Footbag Net Championships. Come to beautiful Portland, Oregon on June 18-19 and
experience footbag the way it was meant to be played! The birthplace of footbag,
Portland has it all - great people, awesome city, beautiful mountains and coastline,
unlimited recreation opportunities, and legendary footbag. Come see for yourself!

The 2005 U.S. Open will be run for the players. That means players can expect: lodging, food, drinks, and great footbag net play! Prize money will be determined by paid entries, and top finishers paid accordingly.
Here's the important info:
DATES: June 18-19, 2005 in Portland, Oregon
TIMES: Player friendly schedule!
Saturday 11:00am - dark (late start, plan on playing until dark)
Sunday 10:00am - 6:00pm
LOCATIONS: Saturday and Sunday - Willamette Park in West Linn (south of Portland on I-205, exit 10th Street - West Linn).

TRAVELING IN?: Closest airport is Portland International Airport. Call ahead and we'll pick you up! If you are driving, I-5 runs right through the middle of Portland. To get to the site you need to exit onto I-205 either north or south of town.

EVENTS: Net singles, doubles, intermediate, novice Foot-C, and women's (by demand).
ACCOMODATIONS: We have plenty of housing for travelling players. Call ahead and we'll make arrangements for you. If you prefer a hotel or hostel we can recommend one.
