This years SE is shaping up to be the best yet. With Jon Schneider planning on returning to defend his crown, the competition will prove to be top notch. The event will take place in a suburb of Atlanta called Roswell, just north of the downtown area. We have been fortunate enough to find a great venue for a great price. The place we have is indoors with good lighting, a great playing surface, a sound system, male and female bathrooms, a water fountain, and other amenities. All spectators are welcome. I'm really overwhelmed with excitement and anticipation. See you all there. Shred on.
Event Details:
the event will take place at:
The New Community Church
2000 Holcomb Woods Parkway
Suite 37-C
Roswell, GA 30165

Entry fees:
Novice-$10
Intermediate-$20
Open-$35

Just an estimate, but it's lookin like we might reach $1000 for the Open
cash
prize, not for sure, but it's a possibility.

I'd like to send out a HUGE thanks to all of our sponsors:
Freedom Footbags, JABags, Lonn Irish Footbags, Richard Abshire
Footbags, and
Trevorr Hibbs footbags. I'd also like to thank all the people who
pledged
money in our fundraiser for the event.

If you register online be prepared to pay your entry fee when you reach
the
site. If you are unable to pay you will be scratched from the lineup.

and massive amounts of shred in between each event.

DIRECTIONS to the venue:

From Atlanta Hartfield Jackson Airport:
Take I 85 North through downtown(I 85 and I 75 join together in
downtown, stay left to stay on I 85 when they split again.) to GA 400
North(to Cumming/Dahlonega).You will pay a 50 cent toll on GA 400.
Go approximately 8 mile on GA 400 to exit 7A(to Norcross). You will
now be on Holcomb Bridge Rd. Go to the 3r traffic light(not including
the emergency signal at the fire station). Turn Left onto Holcomb
Woods Pkwy. Go 1/10th of a mile and you should see the SOUF
banner on the right hanging at the top of New Community Church.

From i 75 North:
When I 75 joins with I 85 in downtown remember to keep left to stay on
I 85. Then follow the same directions as from the airport.

From i 75 South:
Take I 85 East(to Greenville). Go approx 6.6 mils to GA 400(to
Cumming Dahlonega). Go north approx 8 miles to Exit 7A. You will be
on Holcomb Bridge Rd. Go to the 3rd traffic light not including the
emergency signal at the fire station. Turn left onto Holcomb Woods
Pkwy. Go approx 1/10th o a mile and you'll see the SOUF banner
hanging above New Community Church.

From I 85 South:
Take Jimmy Carter Blvd West. Go approx 10 miles. Turn right onto
Holcomb Woods Pkwy. Go 1/10th of a mile and you will see New
Community Church on the right, displaying the SOUF banner.

It may be difficult to identify the venue if you're looking for a church.
There is no steaple or anything like that. It is just a section in a kind of
strip of buildings. Just look for NEW COMMUNITY CHURH in big
letters and the SOUF banner.
