Kicking, Busting, Shredding, and Having Fun. The Oktoberfest Event that we'll be shredding at is slated to include German dancers, concert bands, artists and crafters, sidewalk sales, hayrides, a beer garden, and pig roast.

On September 15th, various Philly Footworks members and affiliates will be having a group shred in the Ambler, PA area. We'll be busting on Butler Avenue during the 11th Annual Ambler Oktoberfest. Butler is the "main street" of Ambler, and it will be blocked off for the event. Being new to the area I've never been, but the fest looks pretty fun. To check it out, go to www.amblermainstreet.org, click on the "scheduled events" tab on the left side of the screen, and then click on "Oktoberfest".
To find the general area where we'll be shredding, mapquest the intersection "Butler Avenue and Spring Garden Street" using 19002 as the zip. We will be shredding on Butler within a couple of blocks of this intersection. From 309 North, take the Highland Avenue Exit Left on Highland Through stop light at intersection of Highland and Bethlehem Pike Right on Spring Garden Proceed 1-2 blocks on Spring Garden and find a place to park. Continuing down Spring Garden on foot will get you to Butler. If you need better directions, contact Bob Green
