The Jam will take place at the Hec-Ed Pavilion on the University of
Washington Campus on the 16th and 17th. (Location on the 15th TBA.) To help
pay
for the space there will be a $5 entrance fee to get into the jam for all
three days.
There will be intermediate and open footbag competitions in the catagories
mentioned above. $20 to compete open and $10 for intermediate. If your
Canadian it will be a little cheaper to make the trip less expensive.
Off I-5 take exit 169 to east bound (right) 45th (UW turnoff).
Turn right on 15th (south).
Follow down along UW turn LEFT on NE PACIFIC ST.
Vere LEFT to NE PACIFIC PL.
Vere LEFT (again) to MONTLAKE BLVD.
THE FIRST BUILDING YOU SEE AS YOU REACH MONTLAKE WILL BE HUSKY
STADIUM
THEN HEC. EDMUNSON PAVILION, THERE WILL BE SIGNS YOU CANT MISS.
FREE PARKING IS AVAILABLE IN E1(!!!)-THE SECOND DRIVE WAY AFTER THE IMA
(BUILDING IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION). GO TO THE END OF THE DRIVEWAY
AND TURN
LEFT. GO THROUGH THE GATE, PARK, AND HEAD BACK TOWARD HUSKY
STADIUM TO
JOIN THE FESTIVITIES.
***Since Hec Ed. is on campus it has no offical address. But due to
how close it is to HUSKY STADIUM IT IS HARD TO MISS. Also
since there is only a driveway to the parking lot there is not a street
name to look for when finding E1.
UW does offer a very clear map of the area I suggest people check it out.
