The site is set! We will be at Oak Way park located on the corner of 8th
ave. and Highway 32 just one mile from Tara's house and my place
|
REGISTRATION is Friday night at Tara's house or Saturday morning on-
site. Call Tara at 530-343-6525 for exact information on registration.
WHERE ARE WE!!!
Go to MapQuest and type in 4 Robert Lee Place, Chico, Ca, 95926.
This is Tara's House and it will give you directions from anywhere. My
suggestions is to also type in California State University, Chico, as
another
reference point. This map will be helpful for getting around to all the
sites.
The map will give these Directions:
Take Highway 32 (aka 8th and 9th Street) from either Highway 99 or 5.
Highway 32 turns into Walnut as well as Nord Avenue. (Chico
Planning???)
When
you turn right on Highway 32, North, you will pass through the Safeway
shopping center and continue on to 8th Avenue (it will be a stop light). [If
you are coming in from Highway 5, once you get out of the fields, Ha ha,
you
will pass East ave, the first light in Chico, and the next light will be 8th
avenue. For you make a left onto 8th.] Make a right on 8th avenue, if you
make
a left you will see the school and park where the tourney is located.
Follow
8th Avenue until you reach Citrus Ave and make another right. Turn
Right
onto
6th avenue and directly to your right will be an open field and an alley
way.
THIS IS ROBERT LEE PLACE. Park on 6th ave and walk on down the
alley, my
house
is the one directly in front of you. #4.
If you are taking the shuttle from the airport, it will probably drop you
off
downtown. If there are a couple of you on the shuttle, Chico drivers are
pretty cool, see if they might drop you off at my house. If not, give me a
call from Jack's, the drop off site, and I will arrange a pickup.
(530-343-6525).
I hope everyone's trip is easy going. Remember you are out in the
country so
enjoy the slower pace. Don't forget to watch the sunset! I should be
home on
Friday so give me a call if you need anything.
