Event Details:
Friday - We will check in at the CIC Headquarters in La Grange and begin
shredding around 12:00-12:30. The novice circle shred contest (start
with circles of four, the two best from each circle will be put into 1 or 2
more circles depending on the number of competitors, then the two best
from the next circle(s) will do a 30 second shred contest.) will begin at
4:00, followed by intermediate routines at 4:30, and then open routines at
5:30. After routines we will have a players dinner (cookout and pizza) and
party at the CIC headquarters. We will shred some more at a late night
jam. (11:00 pm approx.) (Phatest two trick combo wins prize).

Saturday - An opportunity has come up and the second day will now be at
The Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago (free admission and
parking!) http://msichicago.org/temp_exhibit/sport/index.html. We will be
carpooling there from La Grange. Set up and registration will be at 10:00
am. At 11:00 there will be a general footbag demo. At 11:30 there will be
a freestyle demo featuring 1999 World Freestyle Champion Scott
Davidson. Following the freestyle demo will be a consecutive demo
featuring Guinness World Record Holder Ted Martin. At 12:30 there will
be a net demo featuring top net players from the Midwest. Following the
demos there will be a 30second shred contest for intermediates and pros
(1:00). We will cycle through twice in the same random order and only
one of your performances will be judged (your best one). After the shred
contest (approx. 2:00), while judging is taking place, the top two finishers
for routines from intermediate and pro will perform their routines as a
demo. When the routines demo is finished (2:15) we will announce
winners and hand out awards for both days. 3:00 clean up!

*EVERYONE is welcome to stay at the CIC Headquarters. Hotels are not
a worry! Contact Dan for directions (708)-785-2530.

*There will be prizes for the top intermediate finishers of Routines and 45
second shred.

*Complimentary food and drinks will be served throughout the event.

Please let me know if you can make it, I hope to see you all there!!!
