My apologies but we have not yet scheduled this event. The Canadian Cancer Society is having problems with paperwork, even after months and months of notice. We still plan to hold this event but it will likely be in the summer or September. Sorry for any problems this creates. We are as frustrated as you are.
The
Peterborough Games Festival
*Note: Some prize money awarded but most prizes are actual items such
as movie passes ect...*
for Cancer Research
Competitors are seperated into age groups and they
compete within their own age group to win a prize. 5-11 & 12-17 years
old. The object is to win the
events which will earn you points. You gain 3 points by winning an
event, 2 points for tieing, and 1 point if you lose. The single player with
the most points in their age group wins.
The festival will be held at Trent University,
Peterborough,
Ontario, Canada. It starts at 11am sharp and runs for about 5
hours
including the announcements of the winners. We ask you be there at
least 30 min early. There will be a 30 minute clinic starting at
10:30am
so everyone knows exactly how to play all the games. We will instruct you
of
everything, from how to serve a birdie to the rules of footbag net.

The Canadian Cancer Society (CCS).
