Hello Footbaggers!
Rain City Shred is a club for freestylers of all levels, ages and
backgroungs
to meet and play footbag. Please feel free to come to our Saturday kicking
sessions this spring. We have established times and locations so you can
come
and meet kickers from all over Washington state. We encourage you to come
out
and
hack it up!!!
We just finished hosting The
2nd Annual Seattle Juggling and Footbag
Festival
The event was a huge success with over 250 attendees. Footbaggers and
jugglers came from all over the country to participate. Congradulations to
club president Justin Dale for beating out top pros from all over the
continent to win the Rippin' Run Contest. Also big props to Ricky Moran,
Jane Zerbe and Dan Reed. Ricky won the Shred 30 contest narrowly beating Jim
Penske, Jane beat the current women's world champion Carol Wedemeyer who
made the trip up from San Francisco, and Dan eged out the competion to win
every intermediate contest. In fact Rain City Shred won every event except
Big 3!
Although we have some of the best players in the world here in Seattle there
are players of all levels that come to the weekly club meeting.

Kicking Times and Locations
|
Saturdays, 2:00 pm at the downtown YMCA or if it's sunny out, at the Pike
Place Market in the park.
Don't forget you will need to BRING YOUR I.D. to get
into the free YMCA session.
In Olympia, call Alex or Jane (360)-705-2899. They meet with the Footbag
club at the Evergreen State College Thursday nights at 7:00 in the Library
of The
Evergreen State College. Call for directions or just show up.
