Hello Footbaggers!
Rain City Shred is a club for freestylers of all levels, ages and backgroungs to meet and play footbag. Please feel free to come to our Saturday kicking sessions this spring. We have established times and locations so you can come and meet kickers from all over Washington state. We encourage you to come out and
hack it up!!!
We have hosted 6 official
Annual Seattle Juggling and Footbag Festivals
They have all been a huge success! Footbaggers and jugglers come from all over the country to participate. This event occurs in November and you can find all the necessary info through Footbag.org. Although we have some of the best players in the world here in Seattle there are players of all levels that come to the weekly club meeting.

Kicking Times and Locations

We session regularly in the summer usually at whatever event happens to be transpiring
that weekend (i.e. Folklife, Freemont Fair, University District Street Fair, etc.). You
can go to http://www.seattle.gov/html/VISITOR/festival.htm, to find listings of what
events are going on in Seattle any given weekend. It is a resource I use often! Also
make sure to check out any Footbag events through footbag.org. Any tournament or jam in
the greater Northwest you can count on us attending. If you would like to know more
about any session we may be having or where we're kicking in the winter (we generally
kick at least twice a week) please contact me at j2dale@hotmail.com to find out more.
Our usual kicking grounds are Alki Beach, Cal Anderson Park (Capitol Hill), Seattle
Center and UW.
We currently have a regular session at Westlake Mall Park (Downtown) at noon on
Friday's. That's where it all started for me and where I met Alex Zerbe so continue the
tradition and come on down and join us!
Place Market in the park.
In Olympia, call Alex or Jane (360)-705-2899. They meet with the Footbag
club at the Evergreen State College Thursday nights at 7:00 in the Library
of The
Evergreen State College. Call for directions or just show up.
