Classic/Redux

UPDATE: Ocean County Clippers Arise!
On June 27th, 2007 the powers that be, members of OCC Classic, unanimously
approved an application to resurrect The Ocean County Clippers that was
submitted by footbag enthusiasts from Toms River, NJ and the surrounding
area.

The new members responsible for the resurrection of the Ocean County Clippers
are listed below.

OLD SCHOOL: Ocean County Clippers Classic!
Now mostly scattered around the US and the world, members of OCC Classic are
the founding members and originally from various towns in Ocean County NJ.
Their hey day was the mid-late 1980's.
OCC Classic is best known for producing the freestyle trio of Eric Wullf, Ed
Orlando, and Russ Willi finishing 3rd place at the World Championships in
1987 and 88. Also of note, in net... team 'Thunder and Lightning' (Russ
Thomas and Eric Wulff) consistently proved to be a worthy stepping stone for
the Montreal net dynasty.
The amateur/intermediate titles of the club's enthusiastic casual and
beginner players are numerous.
Finally, OCC Classic tirefully promoted the sport of footbag until they faded
into the 80's sunset.
Technically this club still exists but it is not currently active(Wrong - see
below). Only one of its members, Eric Wulff, remains active in competition
and he was traded, ;), to Team
Chaosin 2002 and now resides in San Francisco, CA.
