I was introduced to footbag in 1980 by Gary Lautt while building a house with my family in Arnold, CA (Sierra Mtns). He encouraged me, insistingly, to attend the first training camp (National Hacky Sack Association) in the Spring of 1981. I've been addicted to footbag ever after. Here's a brief list of some of the highlights of my footbag-centered life:

1983 Team Freestyle Championship Title with Kenny Shults

1983 Became World Footbag Association's (WFA) member #1
1984 Began work with WFA in Golden, CO, 
1984 Featured in Wham-O Hacky Sack commercial, 
1985 Performed in Italy on National TV variety show, 
1985 Team Freestyle Championships Title with Bruce Guettich
     (only Championships dropless team routine), 
1986 Overall World Champion, besting Jack Schoolcraft
     and Kenny Shults,
1987 Finished 2nd in Doubles Net with Bruce "The Commish"
     Guettich (defeated by Shults and Hughes), 
1991 Doubles Net World Champion with Chris "Gator" Routh
     (defeating Shults and Hughes), 
1992 Finished 2nd in Doubles Net with Brent Welch (defeated
     by Shults and Randy Mulder ..Mulder ..Mulder..), 
1992 Doubles Consecutive World Record 75,000 kicks with
     Gary Lautt, 
1993 Dropless Singles Freestyle routine at World

2000 Attended my 20th consecutive World Footbag
     Championships!
2000 Finished 7th in Open Singles Net at World Championships
2000 Inducted into the Footbag Hall of Fame with Tricia
