Hi, welcome and Bienvenue to Montréal, Canada, site of the 19th Annual World Footbag Championships. As in 1996, when we had the pleasure to host the 17th Edition, all seven days of competition will be held on St Helen's Island, a mere 400-metre Backstroke from all the excitment of downtown Montréal. The island is home to La Ronde, the city's largest amusement park, which draws 14,000 thrill-seekers a day. Competition this year promises to be the best ever, as net and freestyle kickers continue to push the limits of this great sport. Watch this space for any last-minute updates or other information, or check What's New on Footbag WorldWide. Click HERE for information and results from last year's 1997 World Championships which took place in Portland, Oregon.
