New List

I'm going to create a new version of this list. Given the size of the changes, I think it's better to create a separate list than to edit this one. We can delete this one when I'm finished. I'll title the new list "Freestyle World Records." -owheelj 14:49, 10 April 2009 (AEST)

I have an amazing resource here -- http://www.footbag.org/freestyle/ -- with a new version coming http://www.footbag.org/moves2/

And it's about a weekend's-worth of work to add a recors feature to that. Please let's not waste time manually maintaining massive lists over and over and over again. Let's automate this.

The first order of business though, is to update the move list and make it right. That's going to take some time. Let's just pause this until we have time to do this. Note: it can be done soon, really.

For the interim, just add whatever people need added to this one; rather than waste any time doing something more encompassing when we know the real solution is coming soon.

I'm guessing that was Steve who commented. It's hardly difficult to maintain a list of consecutive world records. It's all done now anyway and I'm happy to take the 2 minutes or so it takes to update records as they're told to me. I much prefer a list of records then having to go to each individual move to see if there is a record and what it is. The project of having a comprehensive move list on footbag.org sounds like a much more difficult project than maintaining a list of video verified world records. If the changes you're talking about happen and it's in a workable manner for having a world record list then I'm happy to use that instead, but I'd rather be doing something now than just waiting.
