I'm no pro but I have some tips of my own on how I learned it. First of all before I started doing the actual mirage I started setting it from the dexing leg. Once I had that down I started going into the actual mirage. If your capable of doing clippers I personally found that the mirage was easier for me out of a clipper. Also don't set the bag very high, its easier to get your leg over it if you don't set it high. That's all I can do bro, I hope it helps.

When you do a mirage, your body motion should be opening the hip, as opposed to using your lower leg to go around the bag. Essentially set waist high, and step over with the non set leg by opening your hip around the bag while lifting your knee out as opposed to out.
