Alway swarm up before you start to bust out some moves!

The best way is probably to jog for a few minutes, or even just kick your footbag for 5 - 10 min. This will get your legs warmed up a bit, then afterwards start doing something a bit more active like consecutive toe stalls, clippers, butterflies, mirages, etc for another 5 - 10 min. By now your legs should be warmed up enough.

After you are done busting those phat 8 adders (Wink) start to cool down. You can do this the same way you started to warm up. After that is over and done with, stretch! Not only does it make you more flexible and gives you leaner muscles, but it also helps to prevent your legs from feeling stiff and sore the next day.

Hope I covered it all Smile

I just stretch like a wild man, but not excessively or else that will work my muscles and I don't want that. I think one minute maximum, but I don't play for long at a time. (Thirty minutes-ish a session.)
