Folks,

I wanted to make sure everyone's aware that the network footbag.org sits on is having a scheduled 3-hour maintenance tomorrow. This is somewhat unheard-of, and I'm not happy about it. (But I have no control over our upstream ISP.)

So the net effect will be that nobody can see footbag.org, and that no e-mails to/from footbag.org addresses will be flowing, for those three hours.

The scheduled disruption in service will be for at most 3 hours during the hours of 8am and 1pm Pacific Standard Time (California time).

Please don't send me reports (and please don't call me if you have my number) if footbag.org is down tomorrow. I'll probably be sleeping. I need the break.

Once the network is restored, all mail and web services will continue as normal. Some mail will be delayed up to 24 hours as a result, so be advised. But no mail will be lost altogether.

Finally, there's a chance they will get this work done in only a few minutes' time. So I'm not banking on the service truly being down for 3 hours. But better safe than sorry.
