the answer is no in my opinion. In 1986 footbag/hacky sack thrived! Everyone knew about it! Here we are 20 years later and hacky sack is being ridiculed!

If the IFPA and subsequently this website didn't existed, I wouldn't be playing footbag. The IFPA sets up tournaments and gives the sport of footbag legitimacy.

Also your facts are completely unbased. Were you playing footbag back in 1986 with Kenny Shults and Peter Irish and the like? No, I don't think so. And what do you mean "hacky sack is being ridiculed" It seems like a non sequitor without facts to base that statment upon.

Finally, just about all of your posts are extremely ignorant to the sport of footbag. I wonder if you're not just a circle kicker? All the information you need is on this site pretty much. If you'd actually researched your question, you would have found that the IFPA does a lot for the sport of footbag.

for a start, yes footbag is being ridiculed! I think there is a whole topic on people complaining about people dissing footbag; something about kicking is gay or somethng like that.

You are not alone.. a lot of people get sick to their stomach thinking about / watching footbag freestyle. I dunno I can't really help you out with another forum maybe the kicking circle here ?
