| oh c'mon guys im not like a stupid poser footbagger person. ok, specifically, i've heard otehrs mention "basic spikes". anyone know a link where those are outlined? i mean freestyle has basic moves and they are easy to find anywhere. what's up with net??? i mean everybodys worried about how its gonna die, well frankly, if it's this hard for me to find some information on it OTHER than the 20'x44' playing surface and what shoes to use then yes, it's innaccessability will cause no one to join in and yes, it will die. |

thank you alex, both excellent sites. the reason is im trying to stir up trouble at my shcool by showing a group of players what net is since none of them will ever come to footbag.org so worry not, footbag will flourish out of santa rosa, california and net will reign above tennis!!!!! |

I think that one reason net videos/moves have been slow to develop is that the spiking is the advanced version of the game. To learn the basic game, it shouldn't take more than "here's the court, kick only with the feet, go play." Not really that confusing. Tournaments or local players have been the means of transferring how to spike.
But, why not showcase the advanced version of the game? That's the point now. Give newbies something to aspire to right from the beginning.

| Is it still two kicks for singles, three for doubles, only below the knees? |
