So that would mean that Pixie Mirage and Pixie ss Mirage are the same and that only one record can exist?

I'm pretty sure they're not unique, Guido. The wording is something along the lines of: "Setting surface does not mean unique unless it causes a change in adds". And Ian of course they are different, I don't even understand how you got to that idea... just because tricks aren't unique in shred30 doesn't mean they're not different in real life, apart from the fact that those are unique in shred30 anyway.... is there something I'm missing?

How did we get to ss mirage vs mirage anyway? I thought it was pixie vs mirage? I always assumed the pixie record as being ss mirage, who does pixie op toe??

Well Guido was arguing that ss mirage and mirage are the same thing, so by adding Pixie to the front of both tricks nothing really changes between them, they are still the same by that logic.

And the discussion was pixie vs ss mirage; one is uptime, one is downtime is how i saw the difference, but if youre all going to cry about it, then forget i even posted it. It was a joke record anyway, 30 is nothing.

wtf are you people talking about?

ss mirage and mirage are different moves.

Pixie and ss mirage are the same move.

Symp mirage and symp pixie are different moves

pixie ss mirage and pixie mirage (smear) are different moves.

What some people call downtime ss mirage was originally called "pixie" uptime pixies were invented well after downtime ss mirage was named pixie. It certainly makes more sense for "pixie" to only refer to the set but unfortantly a lot of parts of footbag move naming doesn't make sense and it's very hard to change the names of moves because they don't make sense or because there is a better way of naming them. When I refer to pixie I am always either referring to it as a set or as a lone move - ie any set to downtime mirage move I will call a mirage even if it technically could be called a pixie but if it's just a downtime ss mirage or symp mirage I'll call it a pixie because that's it's move name.

Even though i've not kicked for a couple of years now, I still remember the times i've hit 3 consec spinning ducking butterflys, and 3 consec spinning ducking osis. You can add them if you so desire.

Ah F*&K, yes 3xspinning ducking osis is mad, and I have not hit that. Sorry, sorry, sorry. just 3 x ducking osis, which is relatively easy.
I'm sure you've hit more than that anyway, Jesse.
I should keep my mouth shut.

lol you n00b Jesse. I see two options as to what he means - either he means 13 gyro clippers or he means 13 gyro osis. Zooming is not a set name - it's just a waste of time. Osis>spin - that is easy to understand. Zooming clipper would presumably be osis>spinning clipper since I would presume far side out of a set name unless otherwise specified.

The consecutive records are for consecutively hitting a particular move - not consecutively hitting 2 moves. I think that's good because there are already a huge amount of records - imagine how many more there would be if you could set records for 2 move combos. Or actually in this case technically 4 moves.
