I just noticed in the olympics that Sweden still has a king and the athletes are his subjects. Why isnt our government all worked up about Sweden not being democratic? I think we should invade Sweden and put in our own government... Rolling Eyes

lol

Many countries have a royal family and are still democracies. In the majority of countries the "head of state" is just a figure head and does not make the decisions for the country at all. Sweden is one of these countries - as are all the 70 countries in the commonwealth (England, Scotland, Wales, Australia etc.) Japan, Denmark etc.

So to sum up - Sweden is a democracy. It also has a king.

lol, exactly. Swedish royale family has no real power. In fact they only serve the gossip magazines, like the royal family of England.

How about attacking the Vatican City - which is a completely religious dictatorship - ruled by a senile old man Shocked - The Vatican also promotes unprotected sex in regions with high rates of aids and has a long history of persecuting non believers...

Full force. I might consider joining up if it'd mean I get to help take the Vatican.

12 Euros just to step foot inside that place...

Somebody is getting fat.

Isn't gluttony one of those seven deadly sins?

Gluttoneous fat old dictating pope....

Uh... maybe that was off topic...

But that "religion" thread sure is cramped.

omg are u serious? this sounds like something the anti-christ would say lol. first of all the only way to protect yourself from AIDS is abstinence (learned it in health class about 3 hours ago). Second of all, THE POPE is referred to as the POPE and not "senile old man"
