You know those guitars that are... like... double guitars?

I play guitar about as well as I play footbag (poorly), and now that I think of it, for about the same length of time (five years?). Guitars are pretty neat, and Paco de Lucia is one of my favorite humans.

I play all sorts of stuff (I've been playing for about a year), and tomorrow I'll probably get my first electric guitar. I'm looking at Squiers because, say what you will, they are Fenders.

squiers are awesome. My first electric guitar was a squier and they sound beautiful.

Seriously, the name doesn't mean anything. The Squier strat and Jagmaster sound exactly like my dad's '72 Fender Strat, i.e. sweet as hell. Feel nice too.

I have to disagree. Squiers have bad action and shallow sound. A Fender Strat plays so much smoother and has deeper sound. They are a bit overpriced in my mind, but they are very, very good.

I disagree with what you're saying, but I defend to death your right to say it. The real deciding factor is the price, though.

You seriously think Squiers' sound in comparable to a Strat's?

Stupid lack of edit button.

Anyway, you must have a bad ear or you played a bad strat.

I admit my ear isn't perfect, but I can't tell the difference between a vintage strat and a new squier. I also have it from a successful and knowledgeable musician/music producer that they are basically the same guitar.
