I am 24. Have been hooked since '98, but have been really attempting to get better for only 2 or 3 years and that is with a 3 months no snow season here in Iqaluit, Nunavut, Canada.

At least I'm not alone. 35 years old, and getting ready to go out with my spanking new Lavers and Mr. Sandbag w/ my 7-year old. Started in Alaska back in '83, but just now finding out where the sport has really gone and starting freestyle now.

Colin,
Heh, thanks for the words of encouragement regarding making it to the Worlds. Since it's a week long, and I have this pesky "job thing" going on during the week, probably only going to be able to make it out for the wrap-up weekend. Planning on it though, should be a lot of fun, and given the previous Worlds schedule, I doubt I'll be able to travel to another one this cheap again.
Besides, I'm bringing my kids along to hopefully get them into it.
