Dear Friends,
The FC Footstar Berlin, Germany's oldest Footbag Club, would proudly like to announce one of this year's hottest Footbag Events - the IFPA GERMAN FOOTBAG OPEN 05, in the wonderful city of Berlin!
The GFO will finally return to their origin and we've been working hard to make this the big event we want it to be. June 17th-19th you can Expect 3 days of hardcore Footbag Action and partying at Berlin's coolest party and chill spots, very cheap accomodation (5euros per night) as well as lots of good and inexpensive food (ask anyone who's been here before Wink!
Disciplines offered will be net - open singles and doubles (maybe intermediate), freestyle - intermediate, open men, women and doubles, shred 30 and sick 3.
The rough schedule for now is as follows:
Friday - singles net qualifications and freestyle jam, Friday night dinner and party
Saturday - doubles net qualifications, freestyle qualifications
Saturday night - Big Freestyle Finals Show and Party in one of Berlin's finest Concert Halls, Concert, and Party.
Sunday - Net and Shred 30 Finals at the renown outdoor YAAM Club!
Some things I would also like to mention why it will be worth the trip:
All event sites will be very closeby: We have a gym + an outdoor soccer field, where people can sleep and where net will take place. These are very close to the yaam area, which is a big chilloutclub adjacent to the Berlin River "Spree", The concert hall is also part of the yaam as well as the awesome "swimming" swimming pool in the river (!), which will be open all through Saturday and Sunday. Don't forget it'll be mid-june, hot and lit until forever!
Also Berlin rocks in so many ways - its diversity, multiethnicity, alternative culture, party culture, I could go on forever Wink
So I hope the GFO will find a place in your personal footbagcalendar, you don't wanna miss them!
Best whishes, on behalf of the FC Footstar, Paul Cronjaeger

That sounds really great Paul! I can't wait to see Berlin again (of course all the players there too!) since we couldn't make it to the 7'th birthday of FC Footstar. Another good thing is that I can celebrate my birthday (19't June) in Berlin then =)

Hey!

I will think about a little trip to Berlin. It's not far from Szczecin and Ko?obrzeg is close to Szczecin. I don't know how it will be with money and school at this time, but if it will be ok, and guys from Szczecin will go to Berlin, I will too!
