Hi there all you Brits.

I know that freestyle is alive and well in Uk but what about net? My friend Dave Ostry had set up the only net club I know about in the Uk in London but he has recently moved to Brighton. So you Brightoners it sounds like you have all the makings of a great footbag club with organizers for both disciplines.

Also this summer I will be visiting London for a few days and I am planning to conduct a one day mini camp for footbag net. Dave is trying to help me organize it but unfortunately he wont be able to make it himself. If anyone would like to participate it will be a great time and a cool learning experience. If you are wondering who the hell I am, my name is Andy Ronald from Canada, the current number 3 ranked net player and I have trained and coached net for about 8 years now. The minicamp will last about 4 hours and we were thinking of a 10 or 12 pound entry. I will be arriving in London on June 9th and staying until the 14th so it will likely happen on one of the days of that weekend. Unfortunately no more details are available yet and in fact I cant do much organizing of it from Canada. I think there's a post about a Dublin club isn't there? I hack with some friends at school in Scarborough, England. We need 2 spread the word about hackin in the UK.

I am not quite sure but I guess that Daniel Schuldes lives in London for a few months during the year .

He was German Intermediate Second 2003 but I guess he was injured .
Maybe it is worth to search in the member database for Daniel and London.

Good luck - it is weird that in a city like London no shred club exists.

Yeah, I have been in touch with Daniel for a while, he is moving to London soon. Bad news is that he got a life-time knee injury and will never play again... Sad

He says he is sewing footbags now instead... Smile

Good to know I'll be able to kick with someone in London!
This other guy nicknamed Jajo on the modified forum lives not too far from London and wouldn't mind comiong down for a shred.

Where I live in England, I seem to be the only person in a 100 mile radius of my house who has heard of footbag. Of course all my friends do now! Very Happy

I would love it if anyone could tell me a local club near me. Anyone out there from the sleepy county of bedfordshire? Question
