I play the acoustic, electric, classical and bass guitars. Although, my favorite would be the acoustic, it's awesome. I think the guitar is a really good form of release/as well as hobby when your legs are tired and you just want to sit and not be shredding. I'll take my guitar to sessions at the park and stuff and play it when we take breaks. I mostly play folk music and blues related stuff (especially on the electric and bass). Guitar rules! Oh, I want a banjo sooo bad, and a mandolin too!!! (play some bluegrass!) (wow I havent posted on this forum in a really long time)

I play guitar as much as I can. I've been playing for 4 1/2 years now and
I'm totally into Flamenco. 3 months ago I bought a Ricardo Sanchis-Carpio
(Hnos. Sanchis Lópes) 1F with a german spruce top and a cypress body.
This flamenco guitar is pure bliss, and I'm planning on taking flamenco
lessons soon.

Before, I have played a lot of rock stuff (I sing, too), lots of New Model
Army, A Perfect Circle, stuff like that.

I also play some classical stuff like Choro No.1 from Villa-Lobos,
some easier Barrios stuff, and a bit Albeniz here, a bit Tarrega there, but
mostly classical spanish music.

Anssi, I didn't know you play flamenco as well! We have to get a jam (fiesta! Smile ) going at worlds!!

Interesting... I just started playing guitar today lol. My neighbor ALWAYS played it, and, well, everytime I went over, he'd always be playing it. I'd always try to play something, but never could Smile So finally, after some weeks, he gave me his old one, that's sort of small, but that's ok, because I'm new to it, and I need to learn some stuff about it. So yea Smile I really enjoy it too Wink

Til I discovered Footbag my guitar was almost everything for me...Every day I played the guitar some days up to 3 hours...I'm quite good at it I'd say but my speed and technique has got a bit worse since I play Footbag...

My guitar has really taken second place after this wonderful sport...But I surely don't want to stop playing it and I try to practice as much as I can next to school and Footbag...Music is very important for me and my guitars (electric and acoustic) are precious for me...

I play everything I like to play like: AC/DC, Metallica, Dreamtheater (only their easy stuff Wink), Jazz, Nirvana, Jack Johnson, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Die Ärzte etc. etc....

But Footbag just rocks Cool ...

Julian, I couldn't agree more w/ what you're saying. I played for a few years (still do actually, but just not as seriously) on a '61 SG Reissue *SWEET* and have been in and out of bands for the last year. Musical interests are Zeppelin, Ramones, Sex Pistols, AC/DC (Hell yeah!)Iron Maiden and Jimi Hendrix.
Rock on
Spencer

I know this thread has been dead for a while now, but I'd like to rekindle it w/ an update on my collection. Ever since that last post, I've been playing like crazy, and last sunday, I made an impulse buy and purchased an '05 Gibson Les Paul Standard w/ 60's neck. It's friggin sweet. Yeah, well...
keep shredding (guitar, and footbag)
-Spencer

Yeah, I play. Guitar is very fun and relaxing, and its awesome to be able to play some of my favorite songs. I have an Agile AL-2800 (its a les paul style, and its excellent for the price).
