Ok our Church just got a old bowling allie for our youth group but the gutters and stuff are gone so we have this huge room and when we play there just seem to have a problem with getting to many ppl and standing to close toghter so my question is how big should the circle be and how many ppl should be playing around the circle.

is there a equation some 1 could make
Ex.
for every 2 ppl playing the circle should be 5ft long through the center (just a thought not real)

Thanks

imo, 3-5 people are best for circle kicking!!!
when we are 6 people or more, we mostly make circles with only 3-4 people.
the reason is, that it's much more easier to kick with two others, because when there are too much people (more than 5) no one knows who should kick right now. Another reason is, that some people in the big circle realy have to wait for a long time until the bag is coming to their feet.
We start (eg. 3-4 people) standing as close as possible together and after 3-4 hacks and getting the real flow, the distance to the other players is changing every time.
For new players it's realy important to start in a small circle and being a part of some good hacks.
When a person try for the first time kicking in a big circle, he can only kick a few times and when he miss the bag and there is no hack he will maybe think that he is not good enough.

But sometimes when there are only good kickers, we also try to make a big circle and try a big hack.

Another important thing is to kick only 1-3 times bevor passing the bag to the next and always serve by hand when the bag is on the floor.

watch out for the footbag dance video at www.footbag.at/tricks

sorry for my english

4 or 5 is the best i found for cirlce hacking it gets chaotic after that, as far as circle size, that depends alot on the players, what they tend to do and how much control they have. our groups try to atleast have arms distence from each other.
