Hey, I'm like really really new to this. We usually just call it Hackeysack, but that's ok. Me and a couple friends found one at this guy's house and started playing with it. Now we play like every day at school. I've been wanting to get one to practice with, but I don't know where to find one or what kind to get. I learned some stalls tonight. Its just fun to kick it around to each other and then do a couple solo moves and pass it off. I hope to learn a lot of cool stuff in the future. Oh and I have a brother who can't get but like one hit in yet he comes up with the CRAZYEST stalls, and manages to pull them off. If you have any tips for me I'd be very grateful.

Well for starter, look around this particular part of the forums and you'll find a lot of questions people ask when they first start out in footbag (as well as some good answers).

If you have any specific questions, however, most of us here won't mind in lending a hand Smile

everybody seems to start off with a mr sandbag, you can get those from freedomfootbags.com. one of the big things for beginers(such as me =P) is to try and use both legs equally, get them both up to the same ability. it can also helps a lot if you play with people who are better than you, you should try searching the club listings for one newar you. the biggest thing is just practice and have fun though. you can also try checking out flipsider.com and modified.ca, they are some other good footbag sites.

Welcome

School hard - it will not take much time and you be addicted.
I would learn toe stall ( then the other side ) Around the world and then the clipper.
Every trick got his easyway so feel free to ask- that will save you some time.

After the clipper it was claer that I won't quit this sport until my body will work.

Have Fun !

ill agree with everyone else and say get a Mr. Sandbag
or, if you like the "sipa" feel you could try a 32 panel, its all personal preference. some say it is better to start out with a sandbag, others 32.
