I cannot set evenly !
I cannot understad why it is so hard to set evenly to hit long runs.
In my opinion the reason could be that the stall is too unevenly too.
My back is always a little bit behind so I do not lean over the bag enough, I think.
What do you suggest to solve this problem ?
What is for you the most important thing to be able to link basic moves constantly ?

Of course this advice is obvious, but maybe it must be said.
There´s no shortcut to the happiness, says the finnish proverb. Practice makes the master. Tips for tricks can always been given, but smooth linking comes only from hours spent with bag. Make combos from both legs (believe me I know how important that is) like legover-mirage and backwards on and on. Or harder tricks. When you can handle it, try to link butterfly after the last mirage, for example. This way you can slightly make longer runs.

Perhaps you are stalling too far away from your body. As a general freestyle tip, set the bag close to you. Several things tend to happen when you set too far away:
One, you to rush to catch up and stretch out too much, to compensate for the distance. That makes the move look akward, not very smooth.
And two, because you're stretched out, you end up with your foot out too far in front (or to the side, when doing clippers) your body will lean the opposite direction to keep balance. This is NOT an ideal position to set from to try another move. Sure, you can pop up it high enough to give you time to recover but it limits the moves/sets you can hit out of it. It becomes difficult to transition from one move to another smoothly, possibly cutting the length of moves you can hit in a string. Just keep it close. Try leaning forward slightly so that your body is over the footbag as you play.
