Dear Footbag Net players, fans, and enthusiasts;
The Chicago Lake Coast Kickers are proud to announce the 4th Annual Windy City Cup Footbag Net Championships, to be held in the beautiful city of Chicago, IL from June 17th to the 19th, 2011. Like previous years, we will hold our preliminary rounds at Union Park on the near-west side of the city (at the corner of Lake and Ashland) and our finals will take center stage at Navy Pier, the premier summer tourist attraction in Chicago. Friday the 17th is a pick-up day.
We will be REQUIRING pre-registration and requesting pre-payment NO LATER THAN MAY 31st!!! If you do not pre-register, you will not be guaranteed a spot in the event. If you choose to pay for your registration after May 31st, you will be charged a $10 late fee. The Windy City Cup is a professional footbag event that is being held at one of the biggest venues the sport has ever known. It takes a tremendous amount of planning and preparation. We absolutely need your cooperation on this matter.

The Windy City Cup will be using rally scoring for the entirety of the event. Please prepare yourself accordingly.
We can't wait to see you in Chicago!! As always, we try to provide anyone that needs it with a place to stay. If you are in need of a bed or just a ride to and from the airport, please let us know by replying to this thread. Thanks!
Thanks to everyone that came out and made the 4th Annual Windy City Cup a huge success. We had 9 fantastic Open Doubles teams and 5 Intermediate teams, including 5 local players that have never competed in a tournament before!
Congratulations to Walt Houston for taking 1st Place in Singles, and to PT Lovern and Jeremy Mirken, the 2011 Windy City Cup Champions!
