hi.. im taking part in a event in malaysia where we'll be doing road shows.we'll be doing some demos,clinics and competitions. we are planing to register it as an official sports here in malaysia
i am hoping if u guys can give out some tips on how to make this event a success as i am still new in this sport.

It really depends on what tricks you can do, but basically you should build things up to a highlight. Start of with some kicks on different surfaces to show them the different possibilities, then go into some stalls, then into the more advanced tricks.
As you said you are a beginner, so the tricks you are doing may not seem too far away from people having a go, so get the kids (or whoever is trying) having a go and trying to learn something.
When you're doing any demonstrations, try and do tricks that you are comfortable so as not to drop too much. Everybody drops at some stage, so if that happens, try and use that as a point for applause.
