I've booked my plane tickets for Worlds! Flying in to San Fran, arriving 30th July am. Flying out of San Fran on 11th August, so a few days for a side trip - possibly Las Vegas.

Anyone else thinking of going?

I am thinking of going, even getting to the point where I might defer the semester of uni if they won't give me special consideration. I will miss the most unimportant week of uni, that has one real assessment in it, and they go haywire.

Cool.

Should be fun. Interesting to see who takes out the title.

If anybody is interested I have started doing a writeup in my blog on Modified.

If some of you have been living under a rock

Milan Benda is the new world champion, he won from 9th seed (there was a time in the semis- Nick Landes beat Vasek AND Damian, they tied for second so there was a 9th in the finals)

Clavens 2nd
Damian 3rd
Honza 4th
Vasek 5th

It was a great tournament but maybe it's best not to talk about how the Australian players fared...
