University of Melbourne Footbag Club
We have two meetings, one on Tuesday and one on Thursday.
Tuesday session: circle kicking only(unless no-one turns up, then me and Leon will have a shred)
Thursday session: Freestyle shred and teaching.
On both days we play at 1 pm at the University of Melbourne-South Lawn.
Wet weather spot is at the same place as stated above.
We may change the date/venue of the freestyle shreds on Thursdays
for situations where we have a few kickers down here. Alternate spot
will probably be at Federation square/ wet weather at the Cave at Fed Square.
If venue is changed, check either the Footbag club Facebook site or footbag.org for
updated info. http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=23126619336&ref=ts
Leon, if there is anything I have missed, please add. |

Hopefully Lotus can confirm this.
Hobart Footbag Club meets at 4pm at Salamanca Place every Wednesday. People interested can contact myself on 0404 621 893, or Lotus if he gives out his details (I have them, I just rather he post them in case he doesn't want them on the internet or something). At the moment I have a broken collar bone, so I don't know if sessions are going ahead. Lotus generally also busks every Saturday from about 11am at the Salamanca Market on the corner out the front of Knopwoods.
There's also a facebook group people are welcome (and encouraged) to join, which should be easy to find if you search for "Hobart Footbag Club."
I'm probably at least 8 weeks away from being able to play sport, but there'll definitely be regular kicks when I am better, maybe even more often, as I haven't decided whether I'll continue to play football or not, having played 1 game all season last year due to injury, and then only one for what will end up being over half the season this year due to injury. We will see. |

We just had our national championships last month, overlooking Sydney Harbour. As there are so few of us, we don't really "represent" our teams, well I guess we do in a way.
Anyhow, at the moment we don't have a regular session and I'm going overseas for the next few weeks. However, once I come back, we will start playing
Sunday- 2pm at Lake Ginninderra, Belconnen. Next to the Lighthouse Pub, near Belconnen Skatepark.
All our other sessions are fairly spur of the moment as we have differing schedules every week. |
