I am an absolutly hardcore obsessive fan of Rage Against The Machine ("the best band in the fuckin' universe") Apart from them and to a lesser extent audioslave, I don't listen to any music that is at all metalish.

My fave heavy bands now are Disturbed, Static X, Mudvayne and Wumpscut. Another band that I'm getting into, Nightwish, plays heavy + operah which I think sounds really good.

RATM, Korn, Metallica, Ozzy and Covenant (not really heavy but good nonetheless) are all real good musicians, no doubt about it.

Iron Maiden anyone?

I love metal. Guitar driven music is my favorite and metal owns it. A good guitar riff gets me down to the bone. I like Queensryche, Judas Priest, Shark Island, 3IoB, Symphony X, Kamelot, In Flames, Atreyu, Iced Earth and so many more. Good topic Justin!

Iron Maiden is the best.!!!! I never really got into one band...Kiss. I guess Gene Simmons' tongue was to disturbing to me. I've just recently got really into Judas Priest and some black sabboth. My friend is really into Rush, but I just cant seem to like them..I dont know why. Whats your Fav Ozzy song?? Mine has to b either "Crazy Train" ( on account that I can play it all on my guitar) and "mr. crowley". GO OZZZY!!!! Keep sending me more please.

P.S. Have you all heard the new Ozzy song, that he did with his daughter? I think the song was called "changes", dont hold me to it though.

I've been listening to a bit of Raised Fist and Pleymo of late. I think raised fist is classed as some sort of hard punk stuff, and Pleymo is um 'french hardcore'. No idea about what labels either of them normally attract to be honest.

Crazy Train and I Just Want You are my favorite Ozzy songs. I haven't heard a lot of them to be honest, just mostly referred to them by friends.

Also, Apocalyptica remakes Metallica songs using only 4 chellos. They are awesome. I wish they'd remake Memory Remains, that's my favorite Metallica song.
