For free accomodation : there's a check box in the registration form, it will certainly not be a gym but there will be some floor at footbaggers places.
If you need a place send a mail and tell us when you'll arrive and leave. |

i have a sponsor that would like to give some prices in exchage for some banners on-site.
they manufacture glasses and sunglasses (lunnetes de soleil) and want to promote their new fashion sunglasses line. i'm wearing their stuff too. its very nice and expensive stuff.
i'll try to contact you via mail this evening. at the moment im in the office and dont have time to write mails.
furthermore i'll check the details with their public-relations-department asap.
from what i got on the phone it just a few banners to hang up in exchange for some glasses. no further presention or workload for anyone. however the retail-prices are around 200-350.- EUR a piece.

I am not registered because I don't want to scare anyone away.
Specifically Greg.
After the thrashing I put him through in S.F. on the drunken masters court I am afraid he will lock himself into a closet until july 7th with a big bottle of wine and a huge wheel of smelly cheese the very second he finds out I am invading France.
Resistance = futile!!!

Ok Bobby,
Get your ass over the Ocean and be ready to get spanked in Montpellier.
Hiding is pointless you’re too tall, we gonna find you anyway.

I dont want to be an asshole, but i thought that after what happended in poland, there was something about not getting kicked out of the pools by a non-european team.
also i dont exactly understand what happens when (slim chance, i know) bob and goetzenjoe win the title ... (i mean, just in case Bob does not have a GB-Granny like mongoose found out a few days before EFC05 in Wroclaw)
i usually dont care about nationalities. but in the case i remember from poland, we had more than one good non-euro team. and those did block some of the upper-midfielder-europeans from advancing or winning their pool. as a result those landed in the loosers-bracket and finished -not just a few places- lower than they would have.
my personal opinion is "dont give a f**k". but there will be people pissed to get kicked out by someone who is not even "eligible to hold an european title". (which i find perfectly understandable. if i had lost agains PT/John and got so angry that i lost another 2 matches, ending in the lower qurter of the rankings... Yea, i would have been pissed for sure)
i might come to that conclusion too, once i get to play bob and flo. so if i see you guys in the finals i'll need to bust you... just to not be pissed about losing against some international-mashup-team.
worth a thought?

it is a difficult question.
in one hand we want to play all together all the time
but in the other hand what am i gonna say to the city mayor when she will come a few minute before the final of the "european ..." to do a short speech and if she ask who's in ... USA vs Canada playing the final ...
I will look stupid and she won't like it ...so it won't help for the following.
But i had that discussion with IFPA before and as we play by the rule book every competition is Open ... it is the name of the competition which is not right ... especialy if you count your point on the general ranking we can't have such an advantage for euros players ... or we take it out of the count ...
but it such ... told ya difficult question but we should have it may be at worlds even if it's too late for me i can just pray that the mayor does'nt ask ... |

|
|
We all look forward to see you in Montpellier next week! On Wednesday, registration will start at 18h at The Rockstore, 20 rue de Verdun in Montpellier. It is very close to the train station - most people know the place, so just ask anyone.
For those of you that are driving, just follow the signs for Montpellier Centre. Try to find a parking close to the train station (Gare Saint Roch).
From the airport, take the bus into town for less than 5 euros. The bus stops a refreshing 10 minute walk or a short tram ride from the train station.
Arriving by train? Great, you have only 100 metres to walk!
If you arrive earlier and want to meet up, or just need a place to keep your bags, let us know and we will help you out.
If you haven't registered yet, now is your last chance!

See you soon,
Miquel |
