Ok, I know there are tons of threads covering the Mirage move, but i have not seen any covering my problem. Heres what I do. I throw up the hack from my left foot. Then i try to go around it with my right leg. The problem is that i cant get my right leg to hit the ground before the hack gets to my left foot. So, at the end of the trick, i am in the air trying to stall the hackysack on my left foot.

Hi Thomas,
Are you coming to Texas States next month (10/13-10/14) in Austin? I'd be glad to help you with mirages in person there. I hope you can make it.
A couple of questions for you
1) Are you hopping with BOTH feet after you set the bag? You have to jump off both feet. If you just lift your dex leg your and keep your set foot planted, your catch foot will be stuck on the ground and the stall at the end will be next to impossible.
2) How high are you setting the bag? Although it may be counterintuitive at first setting the bag too high can make a move harder. The longer it's in the air the more gravity is making it accelerate so it actually falls faster, making the trick harder. For mirage, you really don't need to set any higher than your knee.
3) Have you watched the instructional video for this move? Pay attention to everything, not just the dexterity, i.e. watch set height and position, foot placement, planting, etc.

Also, make sure you're trying this move BOTH SIDES. Good luck. Reply again if you're still running into trouble.
