I'd be more than happy to sign up for an IFPA membership, though I am reluctant to pay the memberdhip fee over the internet. Are there any other alternative methods available?

If you go to www.footbag.org/ifpa and follow the join links there should be information for sending a money order or cheque to the IFPA by post. This obviously takes a little longer to be processed than joining online.
The other important thing to remember is that fairly soon the IFPA will be changing our membership structure (and backdating it for all current and past members) so you'll be able to at least become a tier 1 member very easily (which is I guess the equivelent of being a current member at the moment) - To become a tier 1 member you either need to compete at IFPA sanctioned events or be nominated by a higher tier member (ie. me ). So it doesn't cost you $10 us - it's free. Of course you can still donate money to us etc. and that would be really appreciated but it will make joining - especially for people who live outside of North America and don't like putting bank/cc details online much easier.
