Hello Shredders,

Here's some information concerning the European Footbag Championships in Lausanne, Switzerland. This is a footbag event on a new scale that will
break new ground and take footbag to the next level. We have just organised a promotion week with Vasek including a press-conference for the Swiss media that has lead to television coverage and several articles in the most important newspapers of the country. 8000 posters and 15000 flyers have been printed and radio adds are being aired. A beautiful lake-side event site and big open-air concerts will also make sure the Euro's 2006 attract a huge crowd.

The deadline for the online sign-in is May 29
(http://www.footbag.org/events/show/1137942486). Players who
fail to sign in by this date will be subject to a 20€ penalty fee.Theregistration fee is 30€ and includes all accomodation, food and
drink (except for alcoholic beverages).

For all further information (how to find us, parties, etc.) have a look at
www.lausanne2006.ch. You will also find pictures of the promotion event with Vasek and a teaser clip.
The tournament starts Friday 2nd of June at 9am and ends Sunday 4th of June at 5pm. Registration closes at 08:30 am on Friday 2nd.
So try arrive in Lausanne on 1st of June. If you have already bought a
flight ticket and you know that you'll arrive later on Friday,
let me know!

Players who intend to bring friends to the tournament should sign in on
footbag.org and then send an e-mail to shufschmid@gmail.com with the full name of their friends. The fee for friends is 30€ and the deadline for
notification is May 29.

You have to bring your music on CD. We will not accept MP3 players etc.
