I don't think we're at the point where we need a petition, let's a be a little bit more friendly.
Consider this a polite request for an edit button. Thanks. |

Yo Bernard,
The problem with an edit button is that if people answer to your post and then you edit your own post, their answers might become out of context and thus making it hard for people to follow the thread.
My suggestion is to make an edit button that works until someone else puts on a post.
And Dave, i gave you my number last month and like every girl i meet you did'nt call now i am "stuck" with the Coach for worlds but are you going to the Green Cup?

add one more "footbag player" to the list for an Edit button pls.
Steve
p.s.
make a post on the freestyle forum so Goldberg will have a chance of seeing it. |

Hmm, well i thought there would be more people with typos out there but i guess everyone is a perfect typist besides us!
Yeah, the other forums i post with, edit only allow it before there is another post. or it shows as a edit and the time... I'm game though for a timestamp on edit that makes sense to keep the thread on line.
Manu, the only reason i haven't called is I work till 11 your time. Which I think is when your at work. Then your off at 7am my time. its a time cluster F! I do want to talk! Sorry about your luck being stuck with da' coach though
Much Chaos must be punished at the Green Cup. From what i Hear Pretty Boy bailed for the Big Apple...... Big chink is the big green armor machine. I'll be there, (almost all NPR will) got the time off last week for it. Green Pie is tasty! |

EDIT!
And Yes Ben we do need a petition because it takes a act of God for any change to occur around here. Me just ranting and raving gets nothing done.
50 posts asking for it might get it done... "might" being a loose term

ben, i´m sure if there was an edit button you would have changed the topic to one of more informative character.
i know its kinda scary out there but theres more than the net-forum. since this "Edit-Button" you speak of is neither to be played with nor over the net i´ll move this to the non-footbag-section... ok?
hmm.
but i do see a button called preview... its right here next to the submit-button. it gives me pretty much the possibility to read over my text again and correct these little diabolic typos. (like if someone would care...)
still you gotta be lucky because this issue made it into the moderating-issues forum and is taken into consideration by god himself.
have fun, justin |

You'll neva get an edit button. Everyones always asked for one but its been made pretty clear it wont happen.
Preview button is rather useless. Just read over your post b4 u click send. |

Guess I should chime in since I make a living writing PHP applications.
Manu's description of the problem is spot on, and so is his solution. The bad news is I believe you're asking the wrong people. Footbag.com uses PhpBB and I don't know if PhpBB supports this ability. The good news is, you can suggest it to them at their forum:
