Yesterday I played for 4 hours at 0-week - the clubs and societies day at uni. I sold a couple of bags, started a couple of circles. Some dudes were laughing to each other and said they weren't used to kicking it more than 3 times. To their suprise I knew this meant extreme hack and much fun ensued, although they weren't very extreme and didn't throw very hard and didn't want to do the shirt up penalties.
If i see them again I might try and set a regular 4-square time.
No new moves but some really good runs. I was focusing on going long so I was hitting 10 or so moves mostly guiltless then stopping on toe for a couple of seconds to get my breath back and take applause I'd then do a few tilts or unusuals, then go guiltless again. I racked up some serious contacts this way. Also increased my 2 bag juggling record to 7 contacts and was getting to it pretty consistently.
All in all a good day, going back for more today.

Wow, theres some sweet stuff in there.
Kicked again at uni yesterday, mostly taking requests. I'm now known as the "hackey sack guy" or just "hackey" to a new generation of students.

There were no freestylers, but I sold a couple of bags, and there were a couple of different circles throughout the day amonting to about 10 ppl, I'm sure there were other hackey sackers who would have felt intimidated. I'm hoping I bump into some of thoses guys again because I'm sure they'd be up for some four-square which would then get more ppl involved.

Had an awesome time in Adelaide with Dylan and Ian. Played a lot and did some busking too.

Did a demo for the fringe festival down here on Friday night. Arrived at the venue and realised I'd left my footbags at home. Jorden gave me a lift to pick them up and I arrived back at the venue stressed and with 15 minutes until my performance. Warmed up and did ok - I think about 6 drops in 2 minutes which is poor but ok considering the circumstances. Crowd loved it of course. Haven't played at all apart from then but have almost finished making hagesy bear's footbags.

Oh I have some entries for the modified sick 3 and sick 1 comps and they've been uploaded. Maybe I'll give all the aussies and readers of the aussie forum a sneak peak sometime Wink

been playing a fair bit lately, haven't really learnt anything new, but have my UCU footbag club going which is cool

not getting huge amounts of people....probably had nearly 10 people overall come to a few different kicks. If Benno comes today 4 square will be on

thinking of having a mini comp in a few weeks between the club members, with the showcase being a four square comp, with 4 different rounds, with the winner of each going through to the final.

Sounds awesome Daniel!
I played at uni today, I got alot of people pointing at me and referring to me as "that crazy hackey sack guy" but only saw one of the dudes who was actually willing to have a go when i played last week. Hopefully he'll tell his friends where i play and i'll be able to get some four square going.
I felt really strong and played quite well. No new moves but my weak dlo and eggbeater have taken a step in the right direction so hopefully they'll get a little stronger and then i can move on. I've noticed that ppl really like ducking and diving, it seems to impress people more than datw.

I had a kick with Dan and Jon last week. It was good kicking with them again. We all played pretty badly but Dan started to get going towards the end.

Anyways the real action has been down at the skate park, geee i love that place. You would think I would learn my lesson after a broken foot but no I had to go back for more and now I've got a broken rib.

That makes 2 broken bones in my last 3 trips, somethings telling me to give up skating. Damn!!!

At least only 3-4 weeks for this one.

Hey Scott - nice work on the broken rib - you're hardcore. I hope you went to the doctor straight away on that one Razz.

Good to hear people are kicking lots Smile I haven't played since Wednesday last week Mad Crying or Very sad - except briefly when I drilled my flip dlos.

had a kick with Lynton today! I didn't play especially well so it was mostly just short runs and cool links. Lynton hit some cool moves - full symp tap>atomic spinning symp mirage, also bluriest>whirling swirl, and a bunch of other cool links i can't remember.
Take it easy on that rib Scott. I don't think you need to quit skating, you should probably just get better at it so you don't fall so much Laughing
