Hello
I posted a thread similar to this before and I received responses from about 10 people via email. I promptly filed these peoples email's for future use in the appropriate folder in my email program. I appear to have lost this folder somewhere and don't have time to dig it out of my backups
Please reply to this thread to volunteer your services.
I'll start this by asking for help on a reletively urgent task that needs completion.
In short, I have a list of names and email addresses. These names and addresses need to have the correlating IFPA member number looked up using the member seacrh of footbag.org.
To volunteer, now or for future tasks, please reply to this thread!.
Many, many thanks
- Allan |

Thanks guys
Jeremy, Mike is parsing the list I posted in the membership group. If you want to offer your assitance to him, there are 99 names to look up, maybe you could do 50 of them. I'll leave you to contact him to coordinate.
Otherwise, I will also need someone to contact the stragglers who are the list, but don't have footbag.org member accounts yet (there are bound to be some), so I would send that list along to you for processing if you were so inclined to accept the task of bounty hunter |

Yahoo! More people! Yeah
O.K. to facilitate this, I've created a private forum called Volunteers in the IFPA forums section of the board. Most of you don't see this forum unless you're on the board, so don't be surprised that you've never seen it before now.
I created an IFPA Volunteers member group and added everyone who responded to this thread so far to it, so if you're here and logged in, you should now be able to see the IFPA Forums link at the bottom of the list there. Expanding this view should show the volunteers forum and the very first thread asking for more help from me.
Many thanks to Mike and Jeremy for taking care of the previous task and I look forward to working with you guys further as we endeavor to get things in "my" neck of the woods a little more organized.
Note that the membership group for the membership committee is located here:
http://www.footbag.org/groups2/list/13
Please feel free to join the committee
Questions??
Thanks

Thanks Tom - I've added you to IFPA Volunteers usergroup, so you should be able to see the forum for us now.
I'm just getting the ball rolling for volunteers at this point, so stay tuned

I would like to permanantly enroll myself in any and all such lists of footbag volunteers. I will help however I can, whenever I can, on top of the teaching, facilitating, and shredding that are already a huge part of my life.
Peace,
Bum |

Does it matter if I'm not an IFPA member? |

It is definitely preferred, but not absolutely necessary. If, for whatever reason, you can't get a membership, then we would certainly be willing to work with you. |
