<p><p>We are more than happy to announce that after many years Madrid will once again host the <strong>26th IFPA European Footbag Championships.</strong><p> <p>This will be the third time this event has been held in Spain, but the second time it will be in Madrid. We will make a great effort to offer a fantastic event, staying true to the European Championship's objective of holding an event in a public space. The event will take place in the Parque Casino de la Reina, in one of Madrid's most vibrant neighborhoods.<p> <p>We know that it's quite warm in Madrid at this time of year, but the place has a great roof that will protect us from the sun.<p> <p><strong>The Registration Fee is 50-¤</strong><p> <p>Everyday we will provide free simple breakfasts, coffee(if you dare), fruits and water everyday.<p> <p><strong><p>There will also be the option to order t-shirts with the beautiful official tournament logo; they will cost 15-¤.</strong><p><p> <p>Additionally, near the tournament venue we will have many places with a wide variety of food, tapas and beers; we recommend visiting:<p> <p>Mercado San Fernando, Incredible variety of food and drinks, check out the website<p> <a href="https://mercadodesanfernando.es/degustacion/" target="new">San Fernando Market</a> </p> <p><strong>Transport:</strong><p> <p>Public transport in Madrid works very well. There are many metro lines and buses available. The metro usually runs until 1:30 a.m. Buses operate 24 hours a day; from midnight onwards, the night bus service is in operation.<p> <p>To use the metro, you need a transport card, which can be purchased at metro stations and costs 2.50-¤. It is recommended to load a 10-trip ticket (7.30-¤). On buses, you can also pay directly with your contactless bank card, without needing the transport card. The cost per trip is 1.50-¤.<p> <p>Taxis in Madrid are also very reliable. Official taxis are white with a red diagonal stripe and use a taximeter (the price depends on distance and time). You can hail them on the street or find them at taxi ranks. There are also ride-hailing apps such as Uber, Cabify, and Bolt. 2 rounds of Glow golf. One after dark Friday one Saturday.  The other round on Saturday afternoon is a Pro AM round where a pros name goes into a hat with an amateur and as a team you play a round of best bag. All 3 rounds count towards your overall score. '

<p>This is a free camp out event. If you're not a camper or are flying in we have some indoor space for you as well. And/or a couple extra tents. We have some amazing neighbours/sponsors who give their yards up for our golf course AND give us MONEY every year to feed you all! So food is taken care of for you Friday night, breakfast lunch and dinner Saturday, and usually there's some leftovers Sunday morning. Some FROpers have started planning their vacations around this event, so we always offer to open our place up before and after the event weekend so they can hang with us or use our place as a base to go out and explore this spectacularly gorgeous area of BC.
