July 3-5, 2009 / Montréal, Québec, Canada (Lafontaine Park)

Singles, Doubles (Open and intermediate), mixed doubles.

This is the first all-net-events championships hosted by AKIQ. Our first
Winter singles-only tournament was a success and Aki Québec members are
working hard to create a great event where players will be pushed to express
their true potential and have fun at the same time! Come on, European and
American players, we need you here!!!

Details:

The tournament will start on friday July 3rd. There will be pick-up games
until 5h00 then at 18h00 we'll start the singles single elimination first two
rounds to ease the rest of the tight two-day schedule. So make sure you're
there at 5PM for registration (you can regiter for doubles saterday morning
at 9:30).

Saterday and Sunday schedules are from 10:00 to 18:00. The schedule is very
tight so players will be asked to show on time and play their games according
to the planning.

All 3 days will take place in Lafontaine Park, behind the Pavillon Calixa
Lavallée (see map below for directions):
http://www.imtl.org/edifices/Pavillon-Calixa-Lavallee.php

Montreal's players are pleased to offer accomodation for any participant that
requires lodging. Let us know when you arrive and we'll tell you where to go
(a shuttle from the airport drives you, for 15$CAN, right downtown).

Please contact us for any question.

As official IFPA Tournament we hereby invite all net players around the globe
to take part in a new era of Frankfurt-Style Footbag Challenge.

The Bembel Cup is an Open Net Challenge Cup which will be passed on by the

Freestylers: Sorry, this year we will not be able to host a tournament for

6 net courts and a centre-court will be ready for action.
All registered players will have free access to this beautiful—and

(more info soon)

DATES ARE CONFIRMED and ONLINE REGISTRATION IS OPEN THROUGH JULY 9TH!

The Footbag Conspiracy Footstar Berlin is very proud to be hosting the 30th
Worlds in the German capital and our beloved hometown, Berlin. Ten years after
the now legendary first European Masters (1999 in Berlin), we are happy that
the international footbag scene will return to our city to celebrate the next
season's biggest footbag tournament.

We are trying our best to make these Worlds very special for all players and
guests, and we invite all of you to become part of the experience.

The official website with all important info is now online at
http://www.footbag.org/worlds2009/

For now, we can inform you that, in order to compete, we will require
pre-payment and pre-registration for all events from all competitors. There
will be no exceptions. There will not be late/on-site registration at all.
Only guests will be able to do so, but will have to pay an extra fee.

The registration fee will be a flat rate for everyone -- intermediates, open
competitors, and guests -- regardless of how many events you want to
participate in.

The tournament will start on Sunday, July 19, with the intermediate
qualifications, and the rest of the events will begin on Monday, July 20. The
event will officially conclude on Saturday, July 25. On Sunday, July 26, our
local arrangements team will ensure optimal conditions so that you all will
have an opportunity to casually shred and spike.

We are organizing accommodation for everyone's needs and budgets. Please wait
for the official information on the website before booking anything! All of
the options will be within very close reach of the event sites. Our hope is
that you will not have to use public transportation at all.

We also hereby announce the official Worlds 2009 Video Contest. We will
accept all footbag-related videos sent in through July 1, 2009, for the
competition. We reserve the right to decide which videos to show at the public
screening at Worlds if too many are sent in. The best three will be judged and
awarded there. Start filming now!

Once again, we are really really looking forward to Worlds and meeting all of
you again for a week of crazy footbag action and fun in the summer of 2009!

Book now!
